my site is www.germanperformanceservice.com
it looks fine in safari
but in internet explorer, everything is strange.
i manually edited certain parts to make the site legible, but on IE the font is still larger and aligned in a strange way, that it shouldnt be.
The real problem is in the twitter feed, which I cannot manually edit, so you will see the font is huge and links are huge and white there.
Any help?

The Validator (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fgermanperformanceservice.com%2F)is always a good place to start, to ensure your code is compliant. Specifically I'd address the two unclosed <h2> tags, they are making IE think the whole page is a header :)

thanks
but im having trouble fixing a lot of that validator stuff.
a lot of it seems gibberish or wrong to me. it wont say a proper way to fix it, or if it does, ill try it and it wont work quite right.
anyone else have help?
i tried closing those tags too and it made them into a link which i didn't want to do

edit - a lot of the problems have to do with closing a command starting with an ampersand. i need to close it with a semi colon. where do i do this? right after the ampersand, or later on, and then where?
thanks!!!

In the case of the amersands, they're all in those urls, and should look like "&amp;" instead of "&". But like I said, I'd start by fixing your <h2> tags, I think those may be all that's causing your font sizing issue. The ampersand fixes definitely are not causing that problem. <h2> should look like:
<h2>This is a sub-heading</h2>

thanks very much dave. you are right, this seems to be doing the trick, but i am still having some trouble.
if i just close the <h2> tag, i don't get the whole class part, which makes the font for those headings different sizes which i want.
also this only effects the main page, none of the sub-pages
any help? thanks
