I need a favor please. Can someone with IE7 and i dont mean using IEtester. I'm thinking it might be something wrong with IEtester itself. Can you navigate to this URL and tell me if the images in the content slider look distorted????

Thanks in advance!

Yes in IE7 the images in the content slider look distorted. I see the actual image size is 210x118 but they are being resized in HTML to 165x93. This is probably what's causing the distortion. If you are going to use the images at 165x93 you should rebuild them for that size (you'll also save a few bytes on filesize).

...they are being resized in HTML...
This is a fairly computationally-expensive task for a browser to do. IE7 obviously gives it a best-shot that is quick but flawed.

IE7 is over four years old at this point and you are likely comparing its rendering to browsers that are less than two years old. Other browsers that were current when IE7 came out: Opera 9, Firefox 2, Safari 2 and Chrome was barely a glimmer in the eye of someone at Google.
