This... (http://www.thermenprinsejagt.nl) is an 'old' site. I’m aware things are better done differently (this is not a site check) or not visitor friendly (manipulating windows /*shame on me*/, etc). That’s not the issue / problem here. Not knowing how to solve problems as described below is.
Mac visitors in particular OS > 9.1 and IE > 5.0 seems to be having ‘problems’. In Safari the popup won’t show up, and in other named browser versions the display / coming up off images is just for an instant or not at all. Submenus on the contrary do as they are supposed to.
I’m concerned about presentation in other browsers /* have tested PC up to XP and IE 6 and MAC up to 9.1 and IE5*/, not aware of other than the already named problems and really haven’t got the slightest clew where to look / do not understand what’s causing these problems, (mainly on MAC platform).

I’m in desperate need of some advice / in hope of some easy solution(s). Anyone?

Tnkx in adv. ;)

Nearly every single modern browser besides Internet Explorer has a feature called "Popup Blocking". It will block all unrequested popup windows (like what you have).

Although it is the greatest thing to happen since the advent of peanut butter, it fouls up sites that use unrequested popups for part of their site.

My suggestion: On the main page, do not open a popup window until the user clicks on something to specifically request it. This will work in all of those other browsers.

BTW, those browsers are: Netscape 7, Mozilla, Safari, Camino, Phoenix/Firebird, and AOL.

Ok. Tnkx for your reply. ;) That will solve the popup problem. But do I understand you correctly that that will also solve the not comming up of images or only for an instant problem?

I'm on Mac and I found no image problems in:
- OS 9.2.2 -
IE 5.1.2
Moz
Opera 6.2
- OS X -
Safari
Chamera
IE

Would you like screenshots of a specific page?

Thank you 'bradyj' ;)

It's clear to me (possible) cliënt side settings are causing my ;) problems.

Your answer gave me another way of approaching problems: screenshot of how things do NOT look right cliëntside.

I thank you for that aswell.

(and I will change the 'onLoad') ;)
