how to decrease file size

Hello,

I see some Web page has big image but it's image loads so fast.

I tried to create a image from PhotoShop 7.0, when I saved it as jpg, the image size it's so big, can someone show me how to create a smaller image file size by use PhotoShop.

Also, image only contains 2 to 3 different colors.

When you save it there should be something like a "Save for Web" option. Go into that and you can reduce the quality and file size.

thanx, is there anyway to create a new image with 2 or 3 specific colors? would that decrease file size??
