reverse file browsing

Is there a way to display the path of file in an input field by dragging & dropping the file from a local folder into the field?

Not that I'm aware of. I know that the browser is drag-and-drop aware, but individual webpages are not.

you have to make an applet or activex control to accomplish that. And since the applet or activex will access local files, you have to make it "signed".
