Hi all I am using the following code in my htacccess file which redirects 404s to my custom 404 page:

ErrorDocument 404 /404.php

This works perfectly when the link is www.mysite.com/nothinghere.html

however when the site is www.mysite.com/nothing/here.html

or any further amount of subdirectories it does not work.

Here is my complete htaccess file in case it is one of the other rules causing this problem (which I think it might be):

#--- DH-PHP handlers ---
AddHandler fastcgi-script fcg fcgi fpl
AddHandler php-fastcgi .php
Action php-fastcgi /cgi-bin/dispatch.fcgi

I am mistaken. It is actually working. The problem is the style sheets are not attaching correctly because they are relative to the site root.

annnd fixed... needed a base href tag on the page..
