Mirroring images by JavaScript

www.fabulant.com (http://www.fabulant.com/downloadcenter/imgmirror/imgmirror.html) features a JavaScript that is capable to create a mirrored image out of any image. The script requires a lot of clipping and repositioning of those clipping. My question: is there al less cumbersome way to create mirrored images with JavaScript?

you could use css-transform. https://developer.mozilla.org/en/css/-moz-transform. Last time i tried that IE was incompatible, you might have to search for how to do it on IE.
