Hi all,

Extremely new to CSS so please be gentle.

I'm using a pre-made template with CSS stylesheet but i cannot seem to work out why uppercase letters are not showing in the initial heading displayed on the site itself and cannot work out in the CSS where i could change this and don't want to mess around with it not knowing what i'm doing.

Is this a simple thing to fix...?

Should be simple to fix, yes. Can you give a link to your page?

Hi, and thanks for a quick reply!

www.shatteredpeak.co.uk/granny - is the link. It's for the mother in law :D

She would like the r'n'd bit showing as R n D - but always displays in lowercase :(

In your style.css, line 92 you have:

#logo h1 {
color: #FFFFFF;
font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",Times,serif;
font-size: 42px;
letter-spacing: -1px;
text-transform: lowercase;
}

Remove that text-transform bit and you'll be fine. At the risk of stating the obvious, that bit of css will transform any h1 element located within a div with id of 'logo' to all lowercase.
