corbis.com has a slideshow, how did they do it?

corbis (http://www.corbis.com) has a conveyor belt style sideshow that they use on their site, and I have yet to figure out how they did it to fit 100% of the page.

Dynamic Drives conveyor belt system is similiar, yet requires a pixel width in it's variable such as:
var sliderwidth="800px"

Should I:
1) use that script and just make the size extremely large?
2) attempt to use a percentage for the width, if so, will that cause some script problems?

I've done something like this before. Basically - you just animate the DIV, and when an image dissappears from the left, you remove it and add it to the right.

Excellent!! Much simpler indeed -- now I will tweek see how it works. Shouldn't be too hard to have a similiar show frameless...

On the other hand, generally speaking, you can use the screen.availHeight and screen.availWidth methods to build "liquid" web design, for sizing any element on the page, frames, iframes, tables, whichever..., according to the user's resolution.

screen.availHeight - the height of the screen in pixels minus any GUI stuff such as the windows taskbar
screen.availWidth - the width of the screen in pixels minus any GUI stuff such as the windows taskbar

Would that cause the animation to reloop everytime a screen was resized?

I suppose so, as both functions, the size one and the slide one should be called on onload.

But is it so bad, after all?
