easy question from a beginner

Hi , thanks for taking the time

i have learnt basic programming with html5 and css , getting along ok
trying to graduate to the next level

currently trying to create a video controller ( play bar ) for the html<video>tag

i want to position it somewhere else on the screen so i don't want to use the standard (video controls) plus i want to have it trigger to screens playing the same piece of video (left and right)

not sure where to start is that a php thing or java ?
any suggestions

Thats more Flash am not sure if you can do that with javascript but i've personally only heard of it being done in flash

This isn't really a PHP problem... not sure how to customize the HTML5 video element.
