1) Project Details: (be as specific as possible):
Hi guys, I need a Google Maps made for a website of a friends. This map should show retailers all around the world. In total we show maybe 2000 retailers, but could be more.
The map is designed - the size and it's dimensions - this is an example

That is the final size.

On the top is some dropdowns for selecting CONTINENT > COUNTRY > PROVINCE > STATE
Those dropdowns should work exactly like they do here -

Play around with it and see how everytime you select something, it then appears another dropdown for the next choice and when selected it zooms you into that country - I want that feature as used there

The main inspiration/style to use though is as seen here -

On first load up, you see a map of the world with 1 flag in each country they are in. Ignore the RED FLAGS, only the GREY ONES. On my map I only show RETAILERS - no need for Boutiques like they do on that example
Notice on the Omega Map, when you then click a flag in the world view, it zooms you into your country you clicked and it further populates it with more flags in that country.
This is important, coz otherwise from the world view it would look crazy and overcrowded. This method makes it easier to click on the country you want.
Clicking further on a flag, VIEW STORE DETAILS should then take you to the store you chosed centralized on your page and zoomed in so you can see it well. Try it on the Omega site.
Play with the zoom in and out slider on the Omega site, you will see as you go in, in general anywhere it populates the screen with more flags in the country's - as you go out it only shows maybe 1 to highlight the country so it doesn't overcrowd the map.
This is important.
Finally, One thing to note, I already have a database with some stores that I need to add on this, it's in a PHPMYADMIN and I can export it in many ways like CSV or SQL Text document etc
I already have like 1000 entrie's so I need to find a way best to put them
in...
For example the first entry looks like this and follows this pattern -
