I was just curious how many people run linux on this board? I use and love it. I love open source and all.

I've kinda expanded the poll a tad from linus yes/no ;)

I use Windows XP, it's a nice OS t use on an everyday basis and is relatively hassle free compared to 95/98/ME. I'll try Linux if there are ever any apps on it I'm interested in using. :)

I have tried linux but stopped trying to learn it because of time lack. Now I just use linux when I want to create disc images and stuff like that , where linux is far better than any free programs doing the same on windows.

As for everyday use, Win2k is my preferred OS. It lacks some of the GUI and security problems of WinXP, and it's stable as no other Microsoft OS ever. Only two programs have been able to crash it so far, zig and Mozilla. (Oh, and my SCSI card when the cable wasn't connected correctly, but that was a hardware problem rather than a software problem.)

I use Win2k at work and XP Pro at home....no complaints. I have tried linux but had problems installing it and there was really no reson for me to have it.

Recently I have gotten pretty interested with http://www.go-mono.com/ so I will be putting linux on my pc when I can.

i use win 98. its pretty poor but despite all the anti-m$ stuff, i like having a simple interface compared to the linux hassle. i will install linux one of these days maybe but not to replace windows
