Hi everyone,

I have a problem with I.E adding extra white space to the top of a div tag with list styled with the display:block. I have set all margins to 0 in the navigation style (which has the block selected). I would really appreciate it if someone with more knowledge than me could look at my code, i will paste here.
.navigation:link {
display: block;
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #FFFFFF;
font-size: 18px;
text-decoration: none;
font-style: italic;
border-bottom-width: 1px;
border-bottom-style: solid;
border-bottom-color: #FFFFFF;
padding-top: 0px;
padding-bottom: 3px;
margin-top: 0px;
white-space: normal;
height: 20px;
}

This is the code i used to style an unordered list to make a navigation bar.

cheers.

would be better if you could post a link to the page. My guess is that the selector is to specific, that means you style the elements which have class navigation and pseudo class link in the same time, but this is only a guess, :).

use code and /code tags for code, please, :)

best regards
