View Full Version : jQuery jWYSIWYG Custom Click Event Access Options Object

Hi,

I've been building an addition the jwysiwyg editor to allow for definition lists to be added. However, I've run into a bit of a wall and hoping someone will be able to help me - maybe just a fresh set of eyes or a slightly better understanding of how things are working.

The problem is this:
jWYSIWYG has the 'events' option which I'm using to add my own click functionality like this:

$("#wysiwyg").wysiwyg({
messages: {
nonSelection: 'Hello World'
},
event: {
click: function (e) {
myfunctionbody
}
}
});

What I want to do is access within the new click function the wysiwyg's options object, so that I can get access to the messages option. I cannot figure out how to access this. Does anyone else have an idea?

Hope you can help and many thanks in advance.

Cheers
-Richard
