drop-down menu falls behind slide show

Hello,
I am in the very early stages of redesigning our home page. The drop down menus are falling behind the rotating images (slide show). Z-index does not work. Any suggestions?

yes, you have a z-index on your image slider so just add a higher value for each menu for example:

<div id="drop_menu_child3" style="position: absolute; top: 140px; left: 787px; visibility: hidden; z-index: 100;">

I've been trying to use the z-index in the CSS and that wasn't working at all.
