Hi again everyone!

I'm thinking of purchasing Dreamweaver MX. I've downloaded the free trial and it looks quite good. But I haven't seen any "Ready Made Templates" that you can choose from, like the ones you see offered for beginners on web hosting sites. Do any of you know if there are any Decent Ready Made Templates on offer in Dreamweaver MX ? I'd like a bit more than just tables!:)

They have ready made templates in there with a set layout, and a CSS that you can link to which is already set up to create backgrounds, colors, fonts, etc. It's has good templates for you.

Hi Bradyj,

I've got Dreamweaver now, but I haven't been able to find those "Ready-Made" Templates!

I've selected "File, New, Template," which is what the book says but nothing!:(

Any suggestions anyone?

What kind of templates are you looking for. I have Dreamweaver MX and it has lots.

If your looking for the kind of premade htms that come with frontpage I think your out of luck

http://www.freesitetemplates.com/app/free.templates/categoryDreamweaver/page::1/

(The Link isn't fully working/ Select "Browse Templates/ Dreamweaver" on the left of the screen!)

If you check the link above you'll see what I believe is a selection
of templates (Obviously they've been edited by their creators) but the "bones" of the template is what I'm looking for. Admittedly I only got Dreamweaver MX yesterday but I can't find the buggers anywhere!

Can you tell me Frank how you access them?:)

On the left hand side of the 'freesitetemplate site' there is a menu name browse templates. It has a list of options ie. Speed DEmons, Frames, No-Frames, Kids, Holidays, Elements,Dreamweaver and Flash.

Selecting Dreamweaver will bring you to another page
http://www.freesitetemplates.com/app/free.templates/category::Dreamweaver

From here you can choose between 72 templates. After you select the one you want click on the download button. The site will then ask for you email address. You are then sent a link to a zip file that contains the files you want. I did it and got the email right away.

Good luck
In previewing this thread I notice that it turn : : D into a happy face just replace the face with : D but no spaces

Thanks for replying Frank,

Are these templates not already in the Dreamweaver MX package you and I bought? And if so can you tell me how to find them using my Dreamweaver .

I have the student version of MX and it didn't come with those. I just have basic templates.

I would think that a full version may have them but I really don't know.
