Excessive data loss of Internet.

Hi,

I'm playing a multi player game, means I have to use the Internet... but I was having trouble connecting to the servers...

Support told me (after I used a software that does a trace route as they say),:

That currently my connection to their servers is below par as I'm experiencing excessive data loss. I have to contact my ISP about this.

Does anyone knows what exactly this means?

You probably just have some ports blocked that the game needs either on your end at your modem or router or on your ISPs end.
