changing text links' colour upon rollover

Dear WEB experts, i'm extremely new to JS, DHTML, CSS, etc and havn't got the slightest clue how to solve what mentioned in the subject....

How do you actually make the text links change their colours with a gradual fade upon rollover???

I'm realy stuck and wonder if its actually done with JS or DHTML or CSS, etc...

Really need your help :)
