I like the looks of both sites, code could be cleaned up (but thats all i care about anyway, layouts in general, scare me)

comicheroes site, I like, the "comic heroes" picture is a little bit smushed though, ill get over it. ;)
and also good use of flash (which you almost NEVER see) no, not the intro, that little teeny bit at the top right, nice touch.
I like the micro heroes!

however something I dont understand in the markup:
<script language="JavaScript" fptype="dynamicanimation">

The intro refused to load for me...

The site looks good, and well for a FrontPage site... it ads a few marks.

Nice one.

I skipped the intros before my connection failed, but as far the sites themselves are concerned, they're both good, especially Comic Heroes.:) I really like that colorful starry graphic.:D
It's just that you've used Times New Roman in the Church site. :(

Thanks for the comments - I am trying to make the intro smaller so that it will load quicker and I though tthe text on threeparishes was veranda not Times but I will check

for the church site -- don't reloop the intro. It is set to reloop right now, and that doesn't give people an option to click the enter fast enough.

The comic book intro didn't work for me, and I like the layout for both in general.

I agree with the comic heroes logo in the top right, it needs adjustments (cleaner, proportionate) -- you can find some better ones online, but watch out for those copyright laws!!

Good job:thumbsup:

I have checked the site and it doens't loop for me and the code doesn't appear to be set to loop - does anyone else find this problem?

I'd say get rid of those pointless flash intros on both sites. A comics site, well, I could get over that (still pointless, though), but on a church site it's totally inappropriate. Have the Home links refer back to the Welcome page, too, not to the intro in case you decide to keep it.
The church site looks good, by the way, and since it's a Frontpage site I'll leave the comments on the code garbage behind; I would however suggest changing the solid white background, because it's a bit obtrusive. Maybe tone it down a little (light hue of the tan color used, or rather the complementary color), or bring in a little variation.
Furthermore I'd like to see the layout being made fluid, if at all possible with FP...

The comics site looks pretty good, too; filled to the brim with other people's stuff, though...
Concerning navigation: the first two levels are ok, but below that it all goes a little pear-shaped; especially the micro heroes get really confusing. You already have two navigation styles (horizontal + vertical); stick to that, and don't add two more, or tie them in with the exisiting navigation more. A bread crumb trail might work, too.
