Win2000 Temp files

I have Win2000 Professional edition.
In this, the Run window and Search Window has stored all my previous records.
ie., what ever i have typed for searching and whatever i have typed for running the application has been stored in these two dropdown combo boxes. Now i want to remove or clear all the previous records in Run and Search windows.

Through Registry or any other options?

You have to delete the registry keys.

Right click on the task bar, select properties from the popup menu, click the advanced tab on the dialog, then just press the clear button.

you could also download TweakUI and change it so where it deletes all of the entries in those spots everytime you log on.
