How to check higher resolutions

I'm looking for an easy way to check my pages in higher resolutions...800 x 600 up...Besides making the whole page width 1024 x 768, isn't there an easier way like typing something in the addressbar?

Well, what about making a quick javascript thing that launched a new window with the dimensions of the resolution. Of course that method wouldn't work if you wanted to test it at 1280 and your resolution was at 1024. But for like 800x600 it would work.
