i got tweakui and i was changing some options in it and then i applied everything and closed tweakui. i then found some more things i would like to change and at that point i tried to go back into the control panel to open tweakui. IT WOULDNT LET ME! i am a system administrator (my dad has the administrator account but i have all priveleges) and its not letting me get in. it says "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in affect on this comptuer. Please contact your system administrator." BUT I AM AN ADMINISTRATOR! i tried to open the rest of the control panel options but pretty much the only thing that would work was the Users pallete. and i cant do anything in there it says im still and administrator. ok so i was thinking that if i restarted it would be fine and that it might all clear up. well i dont know when i have been more wrong in my life. when i restarted i went through explorer to My Computer and my freaking control panel IS GONE!! i look in the start menu under settings and ITS GONE!! i look under the my computer icon on the desktop and ITS GONE!! i try to go into system32 to open the .CPLs from there but it says the same "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in affect on this comptuer. Please contact your system administrator." i dont know what the freaking thing is doing. any help will be much appreciated.

yes i tried that. ive tried safe mode in 3 different forms yet nothing has helped. i dont know what to do besides wait for my dad to get home from his business trip to get on with the true admin account. but im posting on 3 forums and nothing yet. i really dont want to try and figure out my dad's password and i doubt i could. its not something TERRIBLY urgent but i want to get this fixed. if you have access to the admin account (name "Administrator", not just account with admin privileges) and can try out some options for me then that would help. you probably souldnt because of the current state im in with no control panel. but if you know anything aabout these options (IE Tab) then just tell me if there is a known sideaffect/bug with them:
Add new documents to Documents on Start Menu
Show Documents on Start Menu
Show Dial-Up Networking on Start Menu
Show My Documents on Start Menu > Documents
theres are things that im pretty sure i toggled before it happened. and does anyone know of a microsoft help forum/chat thing. everything i found on the site is totally stupid. its discussing crap like brand new updates to the lastest software and how much faster windows server 2003 helps you code stuff. nothing useful at all. you think they could atleast have a help forum. the FAQ's and tutorials there are useless. for a large computer monopoly their site is terrible. it is impossible to find your way around.

Delete The No Control Key This Works!!!!!
I wish I'd known that a while back. Apparently it was spyware that I'm guessing is what did away with my control panel and some bot edited the registry for me.- http://codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=126086
I'm not sure, I'm not a guru, but this last time (yesterday) that I ran Spybot my control panel was back, after about a month and a half of disappearing. Now I just wish I knew why my computer doesn't accept my new cheap Ebay USB cd-rom drive so I can run the recovery cds. Initially I wanted to look in Add/Remove to see what had installed if anything and nothing of great sinister business was there anyway. But I'm glad its back, I feel a little more in control. I no longer have the message that Bloodxero got too about "restrictions in effect on this computer". My advice would be to use a firewall and an antivirus before the biscuits hit the fan, which is what I should've done from the beginning and DON'T use IE.
