hey folks

can you pls take a look here - http://bit.ly/aa1BiR
in IE7 and IE8, Chrome and FF the header looks fine
but in IE6 - there is sometghing very wrong with the header

any ideas what it can be?

Yes, the elements to floated should be before all of its non floated siblings, in markup order.

In your case you may either bring the markup of navigation before logo Or just set a float:left to the logo and an adequate margin-left to navigation.

excellent - thanks.
i tried both options - neiother worked perfectly, and then i tried a variation of what you suggested - and its almost right in IE6 now - can you take a look?here seems to be a small margin on the right of the header in IE6.

Yeah, you are close, IE6 is just.... okay... I'll watch my temper. It will die soon enough.

On your site, a cool little trick for your photos that are on your page is linking them to fancybox or lightbox. Google it, it isn't too hard to install and makes your site more dynamic.

You don't need that margin-right on the #nav. Also, add
*{margin:0;padding:0} into your CSS to remove all browser specific default values of margins and paddings from all elements.
