styling disabled inputs in ie

hi,
how can this be done in ie? it works everywhere but ie only shows a default disabled style.

So this is not possible?, i need the inputs disabled as user has only the right to incremenT/decrement them with a plus and minus button. Maybe theres another way of doing this instead of disabling inputs?
