Recently the thumbnails & adverts on YouTube do not appear.
After waiting several minutes a red cross appears as though there is no image. Using IE8

It works fine in IE7

Could anyone tell me what has gone wrong?
They appeared again for a couple of hours ago yesterday but then disappeared again.
If it is caused by a browser setting could someone please tell me how I reset it.
If I click on an empty square the videos play OK, it's just these thumbnails and also the adverts that have gone.

This is the only webpage I have had a problem with. All other site I have browsed have been OK.

All help much appreciated

IE8 may have block swf files. Check the options. Or upgrade your flash player.

It's a bug in IE8.

It seems that IE8 isn't the problem.

I have since found out that it was a Google Adsense/IE8 conflict problem.

Users of IE8 going to any pages that used Google Adsense code was having various problems such as this problem I had with YouTube thumbnails, also with Operation Aborted and Window Busy error messages.

This (i believe) has now all been fixed.
