Your Thoughts on a Layout So Far Please

Looks pretty fun, question is: how did you accomplish the layout?
The markup, is also important, but I like the look.

It looks like it is all done out in Photoshop, or an equivalent package.

very nice layout.. but yup the layout was done in photoshop

Remember that Photoshop is not a web design application; it's a graphics package. Creating a pretty picture is one thing (and often a very good thing to get started), but implementing such a design is a totally different story.
That said: it is a nice layout, though grafically heavy, and could be implemented using a fairly heavy stylesheet.

I'd say you need to work on imagination part. I've seen too many very similar designs recently.
