wordpress help

Hi,
I posted something similar a few weeks ago but I am still having trouble.

I already have a site built (not using wordpress). My boss is looking to update text on the site, but he does not have any knowledge of HTML or anything. So he asked me to integrate wordpress so he could log in and change things.

So for example if he wanted to change the text on our "About" page but nothing else about the page (just changing a few words), how can I use wordpress to allow him to do this.

I have been searching for it online for weeks and have found nothing that tells me exactly how to do this. If anyone knows of any tutorials or if you can kind of give me the basic idea of what to do that would be very helpful.

I have never used wordpress before, but I do have it set up on my server and I am logged into the dashboard. From what I gather, I have to be in the "pages" section correct?

Its incredibly simple to set up, you'll need to modify your template a little bit to get the navigation working correctly, (or use static links (no-no)) but once thats done, create new pages and edit them to your hearts content. read > wp_list_pages (http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_pages)

essentially like writing blog entries, albeit the pages are "static"

Also something to keep in mind: you can set the homepage for your WordPress to display one of your static pages. The default is to display posts chronologically.

I would surgest something more simple than wordpress. Although wordpress is amazing sometimes it can be too complicated for non technical people and it will take you a few hours to convert into a wordpress template.

Might I surgest Cushy CMS (http://www.cushycms.com/) its a really simple web based cms which offers a very simple user interface and its really really quick and simple to setup.
