1400 x 1050 here (a bit tough on the eyes @ times though :D ). Dell Inspiron 8100 XP ;).

lol...yes, it's really not a standard resolution, I kinda like it though. On my desktop I use 800 x 600, so it's quite a difference when I go from one to the other ;).

If the eBay auction I recently won goes according to plan, I'll be able to use whatever resolution feels most comfortable! It's a 21" Dell branded monitor. That means I'll have to pass along this 17" I'm using on to my sister and her family...in exchange for her 15". Hmmm....can anyone say "dual monitor setup"!? That way I'll be able to work/surf/etc on a high resolution, but still easily check my sites, etc. on an 800x600 monitor. I can't wait!

I want a TFT personally, this 17" is huge as it is + the colour's off.

It's suprises me a little that most pages look perfect at 1280x960 and presumably the most popular resolution for the masses; 800x600 many sites look very bad, even unuseable.

@work: 800x600 (15")
@home: 1024x768 (17")

but still easily check my sites.... on an 800x600 monitor.
FYI: There is this neat little Browser Resolutions Utility (http://download.com.com/3000-2068-10106608.html?tag=lst-0-2). Sizes your browser from webTV to full screen.....

My brother-in-law has one of those. You realize it weighs over 80 pounds right?

I have a 18" NEC 1810X LCD at work and whats really cool is that it rotates! So I can have it long ways up and down while in word or something and the normal way other times.

1024x768 on a 13"/33cm monitor. My desk (and my wallet) is too narrow to accomodate anything larger.

Exactly - well spotted ! ! ! So what are the current resolutions being used ?

1280x800 on the laptop and 1920x1200 on the main machine.

17" monitor on 1024x768 - because I can see it then!! (lol apostopartheid)

It isn't that large a text on my screen, surely?

That ain't gonna be much use because it 'adjusts' with the screen resolution but it should be comparable with your own res/size. Does it appear larger than your text?

Usually, "native" on a 17" is 1152 by 864. I wouldn't be able to see without a photograph, bass, but it's comparable to me setting my 19" to 1152 by 864.

1280 x 800 (16:10 widescreen @ 60Hz)
1280 x 1024 (4:3 @ 75Hz)

I got a 19" screen and I browse at 1440x900 because this is the maximum my graphics card has to offer.

Would I have got more I would use it.

1280x1024 - wide screen monitor, I use windows sidebar to fill the width.

I personally code within about a 840 pixel width, but I would be willing to go up to 940. Any more is a bit irritating to me, in my book, because I don't browse with a full-screen window (just wastes space) and I hate having to resize just for one site.
