View Full Version : Resolved Need help with web updates text going to bottom of page instead of right

Hi all. I took over website maintenance on a site from an old business partner. I went to update a link on the front page of the site and now the text all goes to the bottom after the update. Can you please look at the code and tell me why it is pulling all the text html files in to the bottom instead of to the right side of the site? The website is: http://www.homesandstyle.com

Can u edit ur post and put the code in tags

Also, Tables are the worst thing for a layout.

And I know about the tables, that is why I don't use them. But I had no choice in taking over this site and the client doesn't want to change the site and pay for me to have to re do it my way. Thank you so much for helping me.

That is helpful, but the index file pulls in the header file and this guy build the nav bar and everything into the header file. I think I can work with yours though. The other files that I have a foreign to me.

Thanks for your help. I guess I will use that file to do the other pages?

If you show me the actual files, I can assist better. That was just based on the code in the source.

If you look at distribution and so forth they are still not fixed. The only reason the front page looks ok is because i used jim's code and have been trying to get it to work.

If I had build this from ground up i wouldn't be having these problems. ugh. :(

Hopefully that change fixes it for you on all pages. Let me know if it doesnt.
