windows 2000 local security

I am trying to restrict users intalling new software...I cant find something in Security Policy.......

are you trying this for a network connection to the computer or are you making it for people loggin on to the computer?

Just set the users up with less rights to the system and then they can't isntall software :)

There you go then man, just set them up user accounts as normal users, that means they can't install anything. If you set them up as power users they can still install.

if you want to set up local policies, type gpedit.msc in the run dialog box.

Yep i want to set a local policy.......I want from there to prohibit the user to install programms
