Hi all..

I have this bit of code...

.blue {

font: bold 12px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #FFFFFF;
background: #000080;
}
.blue a:link{
font: bold 12px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #FFFFFF;
background: #000080;
}
.blue a:visited{
font: bold 12px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #FFFFFF;
background: #000080;
}
.blue a:hover{
font: bold 12px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #FFFFFF;
background: #000080;
}
.blue a:active{
font: bold 12px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #FFFFFF;
background: #000080;
}

in firefox it renders perfectly...in IE it's black text on a white background....
any thoughts?

thanks!

=)

What is your html code and full style sheet or a link to it?

Always supply a valid markup to expect a compatible output. See the errors in your markup at http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.datahunter.com%2F

You need to add a complete DOCTYPE (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/doctype/) at the top, as a first step.
