I have an html page with an animated gif in it. On the same page i also have a smaller popup html page which pops up using javascript. However when I close down the popup and return to the original html page the gif has stopped animating and has frozen at whatever point it was at when click on the pop up. Is thre a way to keep the animation working whilst going to the popup?
