Hello. First of all, the forum is very good! I would like to inform me for something. I would like to know if someone who is not living in US could work as a programmer in US? For example, I live in Greece and I' m planning to come to LA to work as a programmer! Is this possible? I think the issue is the visa card but I don't know almost nothing about working in IT jobs in the US. Does this depends the employer or the company?
Thanks in advance :D

It should be possible, but US immigration law is pretty complex. Might be a good idea to contact your local US embassy in Greece to ask about the process.
It's my understanding that, to work for a company in the US, you need that company to sponsor you for a "Green Card". But I'm no immigration expert.

Read this. And you will need an attorney. I;m sure there are many in LA who practice immigration law. http://www.uschamber.com/issues/index/immigration/h1b.htm
