CGI Script to play an mp3 on click

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a script to play an audio file (pref. mp3) when one clicks on the link.

Can anyone help me locate one or give some pointers in building one.

I don't think you need a script to just play mp3, etc...

Simply put:


<EMBED SRC="http://www.yourdomain.com/path/to/file.mp3">

Hey Yuppa, thanks for the help.

The EMBED code does just that, embeds the mp3 into the page and plays on load. I'm looking for some type of cgi script that will allow me to play an mp3 when clicking on a link, without loading a new page.

A common cgi script for this is audio.pl, but I havn't been able to find that.

Great idea..... I've doen that already, it's all over the net. The big issue is i dont' know how to grab that script.

I have also written to an aussie webmaster who used one on a radio station site he designed, hoping he might zip it to me. Will pass it on if he does.
