Hello,

I don't know if this is the right section, but I was wondering how I can make a page appear in the address bar without the *.php at the end.

For example, instead of

which would usually appear if you have a folder called "content".

However, I need it to be like this:

WITHOUT the bracket at the end, or the *.php... how can I make this possible? Because in my site, I want people to be able to easily navigate for example:

www.example.com/content1
www.example.com/content2

etc, etc.

Also, I am planning to use ONE page, which will get different content from a database. For example, I want to have one "index" page, but when I do for example

www.example.com/content1

then it will get different content from a database than if I were, for example, were to have

www.example.com/content2

but still loads the same index.php page.. but different content, and in the address bar I'd like shown as I described.

How would I be able to make this possible?

Thanks! :)

You can do what you want using mod_rewrite. Take a look at that.
