View Full Version : Some CSS Wordpress Problems Plz Help

Hey guys i got two problems with the comments on my wordpress blog, please help if you can.

1. If I set the Depth of the comments to 5 Max, and there has been 5 replies to a comment in Depth, the whole look of the divs will screw up as you see here. If i have it on 3 max, and there has been exactly 3 replies, same thing.

2. I broke comments to be limited to 50 per page. But as you see, it's not working so well, when I click Older comments, it doesn't do anything straight away. You need to click Older comments Again after the page reloads for it to do something. Also when you add a new comment, it takes you to a page with of no comments with the comments broken up. How can i fix this?

the whole look of the divs will screw up as you see here. Are you talking about the indent of the some bocks of comments?

PS: Fix all the errors in your markup (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fanothera.net%2Fv2%2Ftutorials%2Fphotoshop-tutorials%2Frippling-underwater-explosion-photoshop-tutorial), to make your life easier!

Thanks for pointing out the validation. I fixed most of it except now im faced with one i cannot fix, to do with javascript and one to do with ajax coding.

like this

<div id="MarketGid445"><center>
<a href="http://mgid.com/" target="_blank">Loading...</a>
<!-- MarketNews End -->
<!-- pered body -->
<script type="text/javascript">
var MarketGidDate = new Date();
document.write('<scr'+'ipt type="text/javascript" '+'src="http://jsn.dt07.net/a/n/anothera.net.445.js?t='+MarketGidDate.getYear()+MarketGidDate.getMonth()+ '" charset="utf-8" ></scr'+'ipt>');

I tried to get rid of the '+' which is causing the error but that led to the thing not showing up at all

Yes the indent, don't you see its screwed for the very last post of those replies, somewhere in the middle of the comments

I think it's due to the padding left applied at
ol.commentlist li {
} Have a try by removing it.

it's because of the width:100%... read this http://www.andrewfopalan.com/width-100-what-does-it-do-in-css/

i think that is why your comments list is going wack..

No luck mate, it causes even more problems without the 100%
