I have a div with a background image that's meant to stretch with the div when I add more content. It works well in almost all browsers with this code:

background-size: 100% 100%; /* used for firefox 4.0 and later */
-moz-background-size: 100% 100%; /* used for firefox 3.6 */
-o-background-size: 100% 100%; /* used for opera */
-webkit-background-size: 100% 100%; /* used for safari and chrome */

But I couldn't find a way to make it work in IE. Is there some other method I could use?

Do you have a link of an example or can you post some additional code?

Is there some other method I could use? You may fake the same by an absolutely positioned <img> tag. See http://www.cssplay.co.uk/layouts/background.html
