View Full Version : Resolved Script stops working after user log-in

User gets the log-in form, enters information, user OK, redirect to lets say account page. Until there is fine, after you click a link the page never loads and gets stuck on "Waiting for...". I have to restart the server to get it working again. Refresh the page and the page that I just clicked loads but the problem is there again after clicking another link it gets stuck. If the user never logs-in the script runs fine.

After log-in it only sets some cookies but when the pages redirects the cookies seem to be expired already (According to FireBug).

I check the logs and there is nothing there that indicate a problem with PHP or Apache.

The problem only occurs in PHP 5.3.x, but in PHP 5.2.9 the scripts runs perfect. Am testing this locally.

Working on:
PHP 5.2.9
Apache: 2.2.11

Fails on:
PHP: 5.3.0 and 5.3.1
Apache: 2.2.11 and 2.2.14

All running on Windows Vista 32bit.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I found the problem. Its a bug that occurs in PHP versions 5.3.0 and 5.3.1 when using the crypt() function. This is solved in version PHP 5.3.2.
