Hello! My h2 link styles are inheriting the background color on my regular links styles..can i fix this?
*yes I'm a newbie*

Well if you fix this in h1 class then choose the color what you want and write in h1 class and recall it your CSS. You can change appropriate things what you need. Hope this will help you. Thank you.

The poster is talking about background colour, not colour - I assume on hover, arising from:


a:hover {
font: bold 14px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
background: #0099FF;}


To remove this on the h2 links:


h2 a:hover {
background: none;}


Incidentally, you can shorten your css by writing:


a:link, a:visited, a:active {
font: bold 14px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
}
