Total newbage ensuing...

Whenever a table is placed within a 'p' on my website, the repeat-y image assigned to that 'p' is broken up right where it meets the table (and in IE reappears after the table).

How can I get the repeat-y image to simply keep on going instead of being disrupted? I imagine it may have something to do with css 'position:' functions?

See http://fatleague.com/dowhatever.php , my testing-things-out page: you will see that the repeat-y image goes right on past normal text (under first h3) but stops at a table (under second h3).

Sorry, but there are too many errors in the markup to warrant a look at the problem. Try the validators at W3C:

http://validator.w3.org/ and http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

Whenever a table is placed within a 'p' on my website,That's enough and no need to read the rest of your post! :)
You can't expect a standard output from an invalid markup. See the errors in your page at http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://fatleague.com/dowhatever.php

Looks as though I just needed <object></object> around the table.

Thanks for the help.
