I was wondering if anyone knew how to stop people from direct linking stuff, and I don't mean by a Javascript to disable right-click...
Do I have to go into .htaccess, and if so, how do I get it to work without actual ip addresses already found out?
Any ideas would be helpful...
Thanks in advance! :D

I am not 100% sure, but I beleive it's done with the server... it accually could be done with that .htaccess file maybe.. I would have to learn more about it.

Thanks for the reply. My friend got it working, and it is with the .htaccess. She is fiddling with it, to see what all she can do with it as she goes.
Thanks again for the reply.

If she gets it done (or tutorial your found), and it works, please post it on the forum so we all can see the code.
But before I go, do you know where I might be able to get information on how htaccess works, and for what servers they work?

.htaccess is an Apache http server feature, and you can find documentation for versions 1.3, 2.0, 2.1 at <http://httpd.apache.org/docs-project/>.
For version 2.0, the docs you want are here: <http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/howto/htaccess.html>

Oh, neat, so it's like the global.asa for IIS and ASP then?
Makes sence...
