my site is www.ravegrounds.com

I am trying to get this image
http://ravegrounds.com//wp-content/themes/Spectrum%20v1.0.2/images/halfcorner.png
to be positioned right under the top nav and overlap the 2 vertical gray bar

the only solution I can think of is to make a top nav span and have the image positioned relative. would this be the best solution and how would I go about coding this?

this is my header

I really dont know if its the best possible solution.
But I would have done exactly the same thing :) seems adequete to me.
Your source code doesn't validate though and that worries me:
