css different between subdomain & domain

They should be exactly the same. A url is more appropriate here. http://votillity.com Go here and click the button in the top left that say's "classic". then go here http://ninefiveseven.99k.org. and click that same button as many times as you want. you'll notice that those tiny buttons to the right of the list on the left change colors for my subdomain but not my domain.

Does anybody know why this is?

also, everything is valid so that isn't the problem

They seem to work the same for me on this end, in both IE8 and FF3.x
IE7 has a different look to the tiny buttons but they do change colors.
