View Full Version : Firefox Changing Link Color + Image Size

Hello, I hope this is right forum for this question!

My website: http://godaisies.com/lis
Built in WordPress 2.9

When viewing the site in Firefox 3.6.3, the Title links for the "Featured Stories" section are showing up this orange color when they're suppose to be blue (as tested in Chrome, IE, Safari, and Opera). As far as I can recall, there is nothing in the code that should be making them that color. If you go to this page:

The title of the page is also orange! What is going on?

My other question is that sometimes Firefox will render the ALA accreditation logo in the footer wrong. It'll smash the image up even though it's size is specified. Any tips?

I appreciate your help very much!

I'm guessing you fixed this already because in my Firefox 3.6.3 the links are blue?

Sorry for the late response. I've been a bit busy!

I'm starting to think that the Firefox my work has must be ancient or cursed since their browser is the only one that does this color change. Unfortunately, I'm at home so I can't double check their version of FF.

Thanks for double checking on your end. By any chance, do you have a CSS/HTML book you'd recommend? It's been a few years since I done much coding and I don't remember all these new codes I've had to stick in lately to make things work.

I'm reading CSS Mastery (http://www.cssmastery.com/) right now, and think its really good.

You might want to check your computer at work. When firefox is loaded, go to: Preferences>Content (tab)> and click the "Colors" button. Maybe if the "allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selection above" box is unchecked, that might be the issue.
