Hi is there any way to stop spam emails getting into my gmail inbox that have been spoofed to look like they came from one of my other emails?

Try moving them to the spam box. It seems to work for me for future downloads.

is there something specific in those emails that seperates them from normal, for example

a message inside the email saying, buy viagra now or a certain subject or something?

if so open the email and select filter messages like these and create a filter for that message, when you it asks what you want to do with it, just say delete it, and tick apply to messages in my inbox.

also just click spam to the spam emails, and keep an eye on the spam inbox to un-select non-spam message it accidentally id's, the auto spam thing can be pretty smart but it sometimes slips up
