CSS not working

Hey,

My CSS isn't working, while I can't find anything bad...

<textarea name="message" id="IEFix">

In the CSS:
#IEFix {
width: 98%;
}

It just doesn't work (adding style="width: 98%;" DOES work, but I don't want that). What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you don't have

textarea {
//style here
}
which could possibly be overwriting the #IEFix.
