Hi-

I'm having some problems with a container coding for a draft of a fanlisting I'm trying to create. :3 For reference, this is the test (http://randomcsstesting.webs.com/).

What I want is a container for the text/content etc. that begins at 400px from the top, and sticks to the bottom of the page regardless of amount of text, like this (http://i862.photobucket.com/albums/ab181/yuesunsx/imgtest2.jpg). What I'm getting now is this (http://i862.photobucket.com/albums/ab181/yuesunsx/imgtest2-1.jpg) wherein it only exactly accommodates the text. And for some weird reason, I can't even get the background of the container to be white (#ffffff). :(

I think it may possibly be a problem with the stylesheet, or something else in the coding is contradicting it? I would really appreciate any help, because I'm quite stuck and a big novice. :3

Thank you!

You'd need to use faux column approach (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/fauxcolumns/).

Thank you for the very helpful link. :]

I don't mean to be pushy but something about the container background color really isn't working. [Testing Site Link (http://randomcsstesting.webs.com/)] Under #container I've tried putting "background:#ffffff" which should make it white, but it remains transparent...any tips?

and to confirm, from what I've read, to attach the bottom of the div box, I should write something like "height:100%" in the css?

Thank you to anyone who replies and sorry for the trouble!
