Hey all,

Wondering if you guys know of a simliar content menu to the one featured on this site once you click "stores":

http://www.joie.com/

It is pretty simple to do in flash I think. But I would preffer it to not be in flash if at all possible. Do you know of any javascript or css menus that are available that are similar to this?

It all depends on the desired functionality of the menu, is it exactly the same as the link you posted?

With CSS you can do immediate rollovers on hover and create dropdown menus/flyouts on hover (sometimes with the use of a tiny bit of JS) but you can't have transitions (like the slow fading in) or the flyout menu loading on click with just CSS.

You could probably do some fading and the loading of the flyout menus on click if you require with the use of JavaScript, the jQuery JS library might provide useful for such a thing.

Here's a good site which has loads of CSS only menus: http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/

As for jQuery menus you'll have to Google a bit for them but theres tons around.
