images not displaying properly

The images (pictures) look fine when viewing it on my computer, I am using Firefox, but when I use the computer at work with IE, the images looks squashed. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I have the size set as:

<img src="images/tanners.jpg" width="400" height="277" alt="tanners" />

What is the height and width of the image?

Well everything should be OK .... The image size matches the HTML. Do you have a link to this page?
