I'm an amateur web designer who's finally gotten a page the way he wants it, but it is not working properly on Internet Explorer (at least certain versions of it). You can use this webpage, www.piscatawayacres.com/pigs.html , as a way to understand the problem I'm having.

I want the image and the buttons on the left to follow the user as they scroll, so I've used the fixed position in CSS. This works fine on most browsers, but on some IEs the buttons are covered up and since it is set as fixed, when you scroll the buttons remain covered up by the bottom information bar. Is there a way I can fix this problem without rescaling my image/buttons or turning off the "fixed" attribute?

I appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks!

Hello PAC,
I'm sorry I don't have IE6 to view your problem in, the page you linked us to seems to work fin in FF3.x, IE8 and IE7 though.
Have a look at http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3a%2f%2fwww.piscatawayacres.com%2fpigs.html
and http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3a%2f%2fwww.piscatawayacres.com%2fpigs.html
The links about validating can also be found in my signature line.

For your postition fixed problem, maybe this will show you how to fix it? - http://nopeople.com/CSS/position%20fixed/index.html
